John has over 30 years of experience in the tax compliance and consulting for C-Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership, and Individual tax area including strategic advisory and formation structuring, federal and state tax compliance, and due diligence with respect to mergers and acquisitions.  In serving broad middle market industries, John focuses on investment fund management companies, professional service, energy, real estate and construction. John’s practice with clients is designed to ensure that federal, state and international tax services are integrated with clients’ business processes so that tax benefits are optimized and tax exposure is reduced. Prior to joining E.J. Callahan and Associates, John was a Tax Director in national and regional tax practices. John is an active member of the AICPA, MSCPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Master of Science degree in Taxation, both from Bentley University.
